Leaving the 700 Metres shifted out when being steadied away from FIGHTING MACHINE and made contact with METAL KING. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well from a wide draw, raced 2 wide in midfield, moved closer after passing 750M, 3 wide turning in, showed good response in straight, took the lead 150M, peaked and headed 50M, ran on evenly.

Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between MADE FOR LIFE and SMART CITY, both of which shifted ground. Held up for clear running on the Home Turn. Sent for sampling post-race.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide towards rear, commenced move approaching 800M, very wide on turn, made some headway in straight.

In the early stages raced keenly and near the 1200 Metres got its head up. Leaving the 150 Metres shifted in, resulting in its rider M Guyon having to stop riding and straighten his mount.

Began only fairly, raced behind midfield on the inside, angled out after passing 500M, 4 lengths back turning in, made good progress in straight to take 2nd.

On jumping bumped with UP WITH CHARM and shortly after shifted in and made contact with GLORIOUS JOURNEY.

Jumped well, raced 2 wide better than midfield, 3 lengths back on turn, finished off well to make frame.

Raced ungenerously when being shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier in the early stages. Made a forward move from the 800 Metres and as a consequence raced wide and without cover for the remainder of the event. Leaving the 700 Metres was bumped by CALIFORNIA MOXIE which shifted out. Leaving the 100 Metres raced tight between FIGHTING MACHINE and MADE FOR LIFE which shifted out.

Made contact at start, took the lead, led by 3/4L, challenged by rival on turn, peaked and headed approaching 150M, weakened and eased thereafter.

Bumped at the start. K C Leung reported that the instructions were to obtain a forward position but not necessarily lead. He said when the early and middle stages of the race were run outside of standard time, this resulted in UP WITH CHARM leading the event.

Bumped start, raced in 2nd, 3/4L back, pressed leader on turn, kept on well early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened thereafter.

Near the 1300 Metres was steadied to avoid MADE FOR LIFE (B Avdulla) which shifted in when not clear. B Avdulla was reprimanded. Near the 150 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between METAL KING and MADE FOR LIFE which, after shifting to the outside of ICONICAL, was then taken out slightly by that runner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped awkwardly, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground to turn, angled out 400M, made good progress in straight to be nearest on line.

Leaving the 200 Metres shifted in abruptly away from SUPERB GUY, resulting in its rider M L Yeung having to stop riding and straighten his mount. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Away well, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader, peaked on turn, weakened final furlong.
