Leaving the 100 Metres was steadied when crowded between KEEFY which shifted in and away from SPEED DRAGON and SKY HEART (U Rispoli) which shifted out slightly. U Rispoli was advised to exercise more care.

Began smartly, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length, headed near 500M, 2nd turning in, took the lead 150M, kept on well but unable to hold off the first two close home.

C Y Ho could offer no explanation for the horse’s disappointing performance. Trainer W Y So stated the horse had pleased him leading into the race and he could offer no explanation for its performance. He said he would now consider dropping the horse back in distance for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
