Bumped at the start. After the event, B Avdulla could offer no explanation for his mount’s failure to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped with them, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length, travelled well to turn, kept on strongly in straight, easily scored.

Near the 350 Metres was bumped by IVICTORIAM which shifted out slightly. After the event, Y L Chung stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position, but his mount failed to show sufficient pace to do so. He said as a result PRIME MORTAR settled further back in the field than intended. He added after being bumped by IVICTORIAM near the 350 Metres PRIME MORTAR did not finish the race off from that point. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of PRIME MORTAR was considered to be disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, PRIME MORTAR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event, K Teetan reported that his mount failed to stretch out at any stage and when not in a competitive position he did not ride it out to the finish of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its left front and left hind legs. The performance of STRIVE FOR GLORY, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, STRIVE FOR GLORY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
