Began well, positioned 2 wide, 2 lengths or so back, wider turning in, finished off strongly, led close home.

Jumped only fairly and then was crowded between FANTASTIC FUN and OUTGATE, both of which shifted ground slightly. Near the 350 Metres was steadied to avoid SOLID WIN when held up behind that runner. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped with them, made contact shortly after start, raced behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, one-paced in the run home.

Bumped at the start. H Bowman reported that the intention was to hold a forward position and to increase the tempo from along the Back Straight. He said with the early stages of the event being run inside of standard time HIGHLAND RAHY was disadvantaged by holding its forward position and as a consequence gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Apprentice E C W Wong reported that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and this was the reason why it gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have a respiratory condition requiring further assessment.
