Bumped start, took the early lead, headed and made contact near 900M, 2nd on turn, hard ridden after passing 350M but only showed limited response, weakened gradually final 150M.

Shifted in on jumping and was bumped. A Badel was found guilty of a careless riding charge for causing interference approaching the 200 Metres (see CHICKEN DINNER). Sent for sampling post-race.

Made contact with the right side of its starting gate, raced prominently, difficult to settle in the early stages, made contact 900M, 2 lengths back on turn, weakened early in straight, eased final 150M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped only fairly and then was crowded between SPARKLING FELLOW and CHICKEN DINNER, both of which shifted ground. Near the 700 Metres was crowded by DANICA’S CHOICE.

Slightly slow out, raced at rear throughout, never a factor.

Over the final 300 Metres lay in and as result shifted away from the stand side rail.

Began only fairly, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 3 to 4 lengths back turning in, no clear run early in straight, cleared near 250M, finished off well to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

Near the 250 Metres was steadied and shifted to the inside of E HO HO to obtain clear running.

Quickly into stride, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the inside, there to turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened gradually final 150M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Bumped near the 350 Metres. Z Purton reported that his mount travelled well during the early stages but when asked for an effort near the 250 Metres the horse’s action changed and he felt there may have been something amiss with it thereafter. Trainer C W Chang stated that the horse was disadvantaged drawing barrier 1 and Jockey Purton having to make use of it in the early stages to hold a forward position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of CASA OF HONOR was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, CASA OF HONOR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced behind midfield on the inside, 5 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, no clear run early in straight, made no progress thereafter.

Shifted out on jumping and was bumped. A Badel (SPARKLING FELLOW) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the 200 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in when not clear of CHICKEN DINNER, resulting in CHICKEN DINNER having to be checked to avoid SPARKLING FELLOW. A Badel was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 3 December 2025 at Happy Valley. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his very good race riding record.

Made contact at start, raced 3 wide slightly better than midfield, 2 wide on turn, angled out after passing 500M, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong.

Bumped on jumping, raced 2 wide in midfield, difficult to settle in the early stages, found rail near 800M, 3-1/2L back turning in, showed limited response early in straight, weakened final furlong.

Near the 350 Metres shifted in and away from CRIMSON FLASH and made contact with CASA OF HONOR.

Bumped on jumping, sent forward to race prominently, took the lead near 900M, led by a length turning in, kept on very well in straight, easily scored.

Average to begin, raced at rear, 7 lengths or so back, same margin back turning in, made no impression in straight.

Jumped only fairly. Near the 700 Metres was checked when briefly crowded by SPARKLING FELLOW (A Badel) which shifted out before being corrected by its rider. A Badel was advised to exercise more care. In assessing the incident the Stewards took into consideration that DANICA’S CHOICE had reacted adversely when K C Leung took a hold of his mount.

Jumped only fairly. B Avdulla reported that on jumping his right foot was dislodged from his stirrup for a short distance before he was able to reposition it. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
