Slightly slow out, raced in midfield on the inside, 2 wide after passing 700M, peaked early in straight, eased final 150M. (See Racing Incidents.) (Blood in trachea.)

Incident Report
Jumped awkwardly. Over the final 200 Metres hung in under pressure and proved difficult to ride out to the finish of the race. Sent for sampling post-race.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide in midfield, wider after passing 700M, 2-1/2L back turning in, no clear run early in straight, cleared 250M, ran on evenly to the line.

Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was badly held up for clear running behind ETERNAL RICHNESS. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped on jumping, raced slightly better than midfield on the outside, no cover from 1000M, moved closer on turn, weakened early in straight when hard run took effect. (See Racing Incidents.)

Incident Report
In the Home Straight lay in and proved difficult to ride out. Near the 100 Metres made contact with the running rail. L Ferraris was warned in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion near the 75 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped on jumping, raced towards rear on the outside, 4 lengths or so back turning in, finished off strongly to take 2nd on line, just beaten by a neck.

Incident Report
Near the 500 Metres was bumped. Bumped near the 100 Metres.

Out with rest, positioned 2 wide better than midfield, angled out approaching 650M, 3 wide turning in, showed good response in straight, hit the front 150M, kept on well to hold off the challengers late.

Jumped awkwardly. Near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid CALIFORNIA BLUES. Between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.

Taken back from gate 9, raced at rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, made minor progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Incident Report
Near the 100 Metres made contact with MATTERS MOST when racing tight to the inside of that runner.

Began awkwardly, taken back to race towards rear on the inside, angled out after passing 700M, 3 to 4 lengths back turning in, no clear run early in straight, cleared approaching 200M, made some progress thereafter.

H Bowman advised that his mount, which was racing first up today, made ground in the early stages of the Home Straight but its run peaked near the 100 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began awkwardly and crowded, taken back to race at rear on the outside, 5 lengths back turning in, unable to obtain clear run until approaching 75M, finished off well to make frame, no threat to the first few. (See Racing Incidents.)

Bumped shortly after the start. Near the 900 Metres made contact with ETERNAL RICHNESS when racing tight to the inside of that runner.

Bumped shortly after start, sent forward to race prominently, 2 wide, allowed rival to cross near 900M, 1/2L back turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened final 50M.

After travelling a short distance made contact with ETERNAL RICHNESS which shifted in. Near the 1000 Metres was steadied away from CALIFORNIA BLUES.

Began only fairly and made contact, raced behind midfield on the inside, 2 wide from 550M, 4 lengths back turning in, failed to close off in straight.

Incident Report
Noted to have blood in the mouth on arrival at the Start. Was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be suitable to race. Bumped shortly after the start.

Began well from gate 1, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, showed some response early in straight, no clear run final 150M.

Leaving the 1000 Metres BIGTIME GENERATION shifted to the outside of MATTERS MOST when being crossed by that runner, resulting in OTOKOMAE being taken wider and CALIFORNIA BLUES then being eased when awkwardly placed close to the heels of OTOKOMAE.

Jumped well, sent forward to take the lead, headed near 1050M, sat right behind the leader on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened final 100M.

After travelling a short distance was bumped. Bumped near the 900 Metres. Near the 500 Metres made contact with MATTERS MOST when that runner shifted out to improve to the outside of INFINITE RESOLVE. H Doyle reported that her mount, which was having its first race start in Hong Kong, raced greenly throughout the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
