Made contact shortly after start, raced 3 wide, a length or so back, sent forward after passing 1200M, took the lead 1050M, led by 1/2L turning in, peaked and headed 150M, weakened final 100M.

Near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid THE CONCENTRATION. M L Yeung pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference near the 150 Metres (see IRON LEGION). Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped well, sent forward to take the lead, headed near 1050M, sat right behind the leader on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened final 100M.

Began only fairly and made contact, raced behind midfield on the inside, 2 wide from 550M, 4 lengths back turning in, failed to close off in straight.

Jumped awkwardly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Held up for clear running between the 350 Metres and the 200 Metres. Bumped near the 200 Metres. A Badel was warned in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion near the 170 Metres and again near the 150 Metres.

Began awkwardly, taken back to race towards rear on the inside, angled out after passing 700M, 3 to 4 lengths back turning in, no clear run early in straight, cleared approaching 200M, made some progress thereafter.

Bumped shortly after start, sent forward to race prominently, 2 wide, allowed rival to cross near 900M, 1/2L back turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened final 50M.

Noted to have blood in the mouth on arrival at the Start. Was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be suitable to race. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 200 Metres was bumped by MY FLYING ANGEL which shifted out to improve.

Slightly slow out, raced in midfield on the inside, 2 wide after passing 700M, peaked early in straight, eased final 150M. (See Racing Incidents.) (Blood in trachea.)

Jumped awkwardly. M L Yeung (KA YING POWER) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 150 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in when not clear of IRON LEGION, resulting in IRON LEGION having to be checked to avoid KA YING POWER, shifting in and also crowding the running of THE CONCENTRATION. M L Yeung was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 19 November 2025 at Happy Valley. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 1 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his neutral race riding record. In addition, Jockey Yeung was fined $20,000. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide in midfield, wider after passing 700M, 2-1/2L back turning in, no clear run early in straight, cleared 250M, ran on evenly to the line.

In the early stages raced keenly and for some distance near the 1000 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from CIRCUIT FIERY. Crowded near the 150 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped on jumping, raced towards rear on the outside, 4 lengths or so back turning in, finished off strongly to take 2nd on line, just beaten by a neck.

Near the 900 Metres became unbalanced when positioned tight to the inside of THE CONCENTRATION. K C Leung reported that his mount did not appreciate racing in amongst other horses during the event.

Began awkwardly and crowded, taken back to race at rear on the outside, 5 lengths back turning in, unable to obtain clear run until approaching 75M, finished off well to make frame, no threat to the first few. (See Racing Incidents.)

L Ferraris stated that his mount made a respiratory noise during the running of the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped on jumping, raced slightly better than midfield on the outside, no cover from 1000M, moved closer on turn, weakened early in straight when hard run took effect. (See Racing Incidents.)

Apprentice P N Wong stated that in the Home Straight she had some concerns with her mount’s action when it commenced to give ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Out with rest, positioned 2 wide better than midfield, angled out approaching 650M, 3 wide turning in, showed good response in straight, hit the front 150M, kept on well to hold off the challengers late.

Withdrawn by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice after it was found to have a heart condition during the pre-race examination which required further assessment. Before being allowed to race again, DOUBLE SHOW will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
