Incident Report
H Doyle pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference making the first turn near the 1000 Metres (see NEWBORN MORACLE). Near the 150 Metres H Doyle dropped her right rein. Sent for sampling post-race.

Shifted out shortly after start and bumped, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, dropped towards rear in the back straight, 7 lengths back turning in, made no impression in straight.

Crowded near the 1000 Metres. Briefly held up approaching the 250 Metres, shifted out and made contact with TOP TO SKY. Over the final 200 Metres lay out under pressure. Sent for sampling post-race.

H Doyle (RUN RUN SMART) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that making the first turn near the 1000 Metres she allowed her mount to shift in when not clear of LUNAR DASH, resulting in LUNAR DASH being taken in across the running of NEWBORN MIRACLE which was checked and further resulting in NEWBORN MIRACLE being carried in onto TOP TO SKY, causing TOP TO SKY to be taken across the running of PRIDE BELIEVER which was checked, resulting in PRIDE BELIEVER becoming unbalanced and a short distance later shifted in across the running of YEE CHEONG SPIRIT which was also checked. H Doyle was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 19 November 2025 at Happy Valley. In addition, she was fined the sum of $60,000. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered her excellent race riding record.

Checked near the 1100 Metres when crowded. Near the 800 Metres was eased from the heels of NEWBORN MIRACLE which shifted in when being restrained to obtain a position behind TOP TO SKY.

Crowded near the 1000 Metres. Near the 250 Metres was bumped and taken wider by LUNAR DASH which shifted to the outside of RUN RUN SMART to secure clear running.

Slowly away, raced behind midfield on the inside, moved a bit closer after passing 800M, 2 wide on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

Average to begin, taken back to race at tail, commenced move near 1000M, took the lead 850M, led by 1-1/4L turning in, kept on very well in straight, won by 3-1/2L.

Began well from gate 1, took the lead, led by 3/4L in the early stages, headed near 850M, 1-1/4L back turning in, peaked early in straight, ran on evenly to the line.

Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Near the 1100 Metres FUN TOGETHER and LEGENDARY IMPACT were checked when crowded between LUNAR DASH which was taken in by RUN RUN SMART (H Doyle) and NEWBORN MIRACLE (M Chadwick) which shifted out when being corrected by its rider to avoid causing interference to its inside. Both Jockeys Doyle and Chadwick were reprimanded. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Moderately away, raced better than midfield on the inside, dropped to midfield in the back straight, 5 lengths back turning in, one-paced in the run home.

L Ferraris reported that in the middle stages his mount raced keenly and refused to settle. He said as a consequence it was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, THE REVOLUTION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
