Trainer M Newnham confirmed that he had instructed L Hewitson to ride the horse with cover today. Shifted in at the start and was bumped. Briefly held up near the 300 Metres. Near the 100 Metres improved into a narrow run to the inside of HAPPY UNIVERSE as that runner shifted in slightly. As a result BULL ATTITUDE was momentarily crowded by HAPPY UNIVERSE, resulting in those two runners making contact. Sent for sampling post-race.

Away with them, raced slightly behind midfield on outer, 7 lengths or so back turning in, failed to close off in straight.

Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between ROMANTIC FANTASY and GLORIOUS SUCCESS.

Bumped on jumping, raced at tail, 8 lengths or so back turning in, made some progress early in straight, no clear run final 100M, eased close home.

Shortly after the start was bumped by PEARL OF PANG’S which shifted out slightly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, angled out approaching 450M, finished off well to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

After the event H T Mo reported that the instructions were to hold a midfield position. He said when his mount commenced well he was able to race in the lead without being pressured to do so. He added that once he obtained the lead his mount raced keenly and did not settle throughout the early and middle stages.

Shortly after the start was eased when crowded by BEAUTY MISSILE which shifted in slightly. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when positioned close to the heels of FIGHT TIME.

Shifted in shortly after start and made contact, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader, same margin back on turn, finished off evenly.

Approaching the 300 Metres was steadied when crowded between PRESTIGE RICKY (C L Chau) and BEAUTY MISSILE (A Badel), both of which shifted ground. Both C L Chau and A Badel were advised to exercise more care. Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Slightly slow out, raced 2 wide in midfield, 5 lengths back turning in, peaked early in straight, kept on same pace to the line.
