STARSPANGLEDBANNER was trained by Leon Corstens in Australia, and landed G1 Caulfield Guineas and Oakleigh Plate with Daniel Nikolic on board. He was purchased by Coolmore and under Aidan O'Brien’s handling afterwards. After settled in Ireland, STARSPANGLEDBANNER claimed Golden Jubilee Stakes and July Cup with Johnny Murtagh in the saddle and made him became a champion sprinter in both European and Australia. He joined the Coolmore’s stallion roster after retirement but he was sent to second tier stud farm due to his low pregnancy rate. However, his next generations brought some surprise to Coolmore with victories among Royal Ascot races and STARSPANGLEDBANNER made his return. As of now, 59 runners won the black type contests including four-time G1 winner STATE OF REST. CALIFORNIA SPANGLE and BEAUTY ETERNAL are his representatives in HK. His service fee is EUR€ 60,000 in 2026. BUSTLING CITY was purchased by current owner Mr. Gary Ling Kay Wai at NZD$ 160,000 in 2024 NZB Karaka Book 1. He was trained by Mark Brooks in New Zealand and took part in an 850M trial (27th May 2025) where he pushed to lead and kept on well to win with 4Ls on heavy ground. His dam DOLLY FABULOUS is half-sister of 2-time G1 winner FASHION AFIELD. His half-brother BOY RACER won at 1050M and full-sister FABULOUS ONE finished 5th on her debut. The chestnut gelding ran on nicely in the trials that should be a precocious runner that most effective from 1000M to 1400M.
