ZOUSTAR was trained by Chris Waller with a record of 6 wins in 9 starts including G1 Golden Rose Stakes and Ascot Vale Stakes (Coolmore Stud Stakes). He was welcomed by the breeders when he joined the stallion roster in 2014 with 76 black type contests winners; SUNLIGHT, champion of Magic Millions 2YO Classic, Ascot Vale Stakes(Coolmore Stud Stakes),Newmarket Handicap and William Reid Stakes, is his representative. Also, in the Ascot Vale Stakes, the 1st runner up ZOUSAIN and 2nd runner up LEAN MEAN MACHINE were also sired by ZOUSTAR. Meanwhile, ZOUGOTCHA, ZOUTORI and JOLIESTAR are G1 winners. HEALTHY HAPPY, who lifted 2021 The Hong Kong Classic Cup, is his best runner in HK. ZOUSTAR now stands at Widden Stud and his fee in 2025 is AUD$ 275,000.HAPPY BRETHREN was sold as a yearling at 85,000 gns in 2023 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale (Book 1) and got his training under Ben & Ryan Foote in New Zealand. He took part in 2 barrier trials where he sat handy early and ran on for 4th under his own steam in an 800M section (17th Dec 2024) on soft going, then led all the way to win an 800M trial (3rd Apr 2025) on soft going.
