WRITTEN BY was trained by Grahame Begg with a record of 6 wins and 1 second in 11 starts, winning distance from 1000M to 1200M. He landed 2YO G1 Blue Diamond Stakes under Jordan Childs and lifted Pago Pago Stakes until finished 4th on his fifth attempt in G1 Golden Slipper Stakes that behind ESTIJAAB. He got 2 more successes at 3YO but no surprise in 3 G1 attempts. The son of WRITTEN TYCOON commenced stud duties since 2019 and stationed at Widden Stud with 6 black type contest winners. His fee in 2025 is AUD$ 22,000. LUCKY PLUS was purchased by Upper Bloodstock at AUD$ 80,000 in 2023 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale. He was trained by Ben & Ryan Foote in New Zealand and took part in 4 barrier trials where he failed to made frame on first two trials, then settled midfield early and shifted out at turn to dash well for 2nd in an 850M trial (18th Nov 2024) on good going, broke OK then took the lead early and kept on to just won in an 800M section (17th Dec 2024) on soft going. His dam CALL ME TILLY won over 1200M at Queensland and former Australian icon horse SO SI BON is family member. The bay gelding should be fine to handle sprint events and could reach up to mile while Happy Valley is fine.
