Shifted out at start, showed no speed, raced at rear on outer, 6 to 7 lengths back turning in, failed to close off in straight.

Incident Report
On jumping made contact with the right side of its starting gate and then shortly after the start blundered and became unbalanced. Raced keenly in the middle stages. Sent for sampling post-race.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 450 Metres and the 250 Metres. Over the concluding stages lay in resulting in its rider M F Poon changing his whip through to his right hand. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped on jumping and became unbalanced. After the event D Probert confirmed that from a wide barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position. Trainer C H Yip confirmed the instructions and said he issued such instructions as the horse had raced disappointingly when ridden from back in the field at its first two race starts in Hong Kong.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, ran on evenly to the line.

After the event M Chadwick stated that near the 900 Metres he endeavoured to obtain a position with cover behind SUPERB BOY. He said when LITTLE PARADISE shifted out he was obliged to race very wide and without cover for the majority of the event which resulted in his mount not being able to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped well from gate 10, raced slightly behind midfield on outer, 4 lengths or so back turning in, made very good progress in straight to take 2nd, nearest finish.

After the event Y L Chung stated that from the inside barrier he was instructed to hold an on-pace position and race in a similar manner to when it barrier trialed on 11 September 2025. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
