Slightly slow out, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, made no impression in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Began awkwardly, raced 3 wide with cover at rear, difficult to settle in the early and middle stages, very wide into straight, made no progress in the run home. (A small laceration to the right front leg.)

Bumped shortly after start and unbalanced, positioned 3 lengths behind the leader on rail, slightly improved along the rail on turn, angled out 350M, finished off strongly, just beaten by a nose. (See Racing Incidents.)

Making the Home Turn was steadied to avoid AERIS NOVA. KAHOLO ANGEL was then shifted to the inside of AERIS NOVA where it obtained clear running near the 300 Metres. Near the 250 Metres shifted in and was then corrected by its rider Apprentice E C W Wong.

Away well, raced better than midfield, 2 wide, angled out 350M, failed to close off in straight. (See Racing Incidents.) (Blood in trachea.)

In the middle stages raced keenly. Near the 700 Metres improved to the inside of BEAUTY WAVES and was steadied to avoid that runner when it shifted in slightly. Over the concluding stages was unable to be ridden out by its rider K H Chan when he corrected his mount due to it shifting in towards RAGING BLIZZARD.

Began smartly, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/2L turning in, kept on well in straight to hold off the challengers.

Jumped only fairly. Leaving the 600 Metres shifted in and away from FULL CREDIT and made contact with the running rail.

Bumped start and unbalanced, raced 2 wide in midfield, similar position on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.) (Blood in trachea.)

Jumped only fairly. Near the 250 Metres briefly raced tight to the inside of KAHOLO ANGEL which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. Over the concluding stages raced tight to the inside of MAGIC CONTROL which shifted in when giving ground. After the event H Bowman stated that his mount finished the race off satisfactorily in the Home Straight from back in the field and in the circumstances he was not too disappointed with the performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Crowded start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, found rail near 850M, moved a bit closer along the rail on turn, kept on well in straight to make frame, always held.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. After the event L Ferraris stated that the intention was to settle further back in the field. He added that his mount jumped well and as a consequence raced in a more forward position.

Made contact shortly after start, raced in midfield on the outside, no cover throughout, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

Taken back from gate 11, raced behind midfield on the outside, very wide into straight, made some progress in the run home.

In the early stages raced keenly. After the event M F Poon reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
