Moderately away, raced slightly better than midfield on the outside, found rail near 700M, angled out 450M, finished off strongly to take 2nd.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped well, positioned 1-1/2L behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, finished off strongly to score.

Near the 350 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between SMART FIGHTER and SIGHT HAPPY. As a result DAILY TROPHY was then shifted to the outside of SIGHT HAPPY where it obtained clear running near the 250 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

Taken back from gate 10, raced towards rear on the outside, 8 lengths or so back, travelled greenly in the early stages, found rail near 700M, same margin back turning in, made no impression in straight.

After the event B Avdulla advised that he was instructed to take up a forward position.

Began only fairly, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, one-paced in the run home.

After the race an endoscopic examination was conducted on MAGNIAC at the request of Trainer T P Yung. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, MAGNIAC will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Bumped shortly after start, raced towards rear on the inside, a bit closer in the middle stages, angled out approaching 500M, 4 lengths back turning in, finished off evenly. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the event A Atzeni reported that his mount raced "flat” today.

Jumped only fairly. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race.

Taken back from gate 12, raced at rear throughout, never a factor.

After the event L Ferraris stated that he was obliged to make some use of his mount in the early stages to go forward. He said the horse, which was having its first race start on the All Weather Track, may not appreciate racing on this surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Moderately away from a wide draw, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, there to turn, kept on well early in straight, peaked 200M, weakened gradually final 100M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped awkwardly, made heavy contact with the left side of its barrier and as a result lost ground. After the event K De Melo stated that after losing ground at the start his mount settled further back in the field and was unable to make up ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began well from gate 1, took the lead, led by 1/2L turning in, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the first two final 75M.

On jumping made contact with the left side of the starting gate and lost ground.

Jumped only fairly, raced 2 wide behind midfield, angled out 500M, 5-1/2L back turning in, made good progress in straight to be nearest on line.

Despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. After the event M L Yeung stated that his mount, which was having its first race start on the All Weather Track, did not appreciate racing on this surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
