Bumped shortly after the start. Approaching the 1100 Metres was steadied when crowded between LIGHTNING ARROW and LUCKY MCQUEEN which lay out and away from LO PAN SPIRIT. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began awkwardly and made contact, positioned 2 to 3 lengths behind the leader, nearer to the middle track, hard ridden from 400M but only showed limited response, weakened gradually final furlong.

Shifted out on jumping, made contact with RADIANT SWIFT and became unbalanced. In the middle stages raced keenly and near the 750 Metres was steadied away from CIRCUIT VICTORY. After the event M L Yeung stated that from a wide barrier his mount settled further back in the field than intended. He added in the Home Straight GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY found it difficult to make up ground which he felt was due to the horse being disadvantaged by settling further back in the field and in the circumstances he was not too disappointed with its performance.

Blundered on jumping and became unbalanced, raced in midfield on the stands' rail, hard ridden from 300M, made some progress to take a place, no threat to the first two.

In the middle stages raced keenly and near the 800 Metres got its head up when being checked away from SUPER UNIVERSAL. After the event M F Poon stated that his mount was disappointing in its failure to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and he could offer no explanation for its performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Commenced well, positioned 1 to 2 lengths behind the leader on the stands' side, hard ridden after passing 300M, showed very good response, took the lead approaching 150M, kept on very well to the line, easily scored.

On jumping made contact with ALL’S WELL and shortly after then bumped with IGOR STRAVINSKY. Leaving the 800 Metres was steadied to avoid LUCKY MCQUEEN. Approaching the 400 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between CHAMPION INSTINCT and CIRCUIT VICTORY and after making contact with CIRCUIT VICTORY was shifted to the inside of CHAMPION INSTINCT to obtain clear running.

Bumped start, raced behind midfield on the stands' side, made no impression final 400M.

Crowded at the start. Near the 250 Metres was steadied to avoid LIGHTNING ARROW (C L Chau) which shifted in. C L Chau was advised to exercise more care.

Bumped start, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length, peaked and headed near 300M, kept on same pace to the line.

When placed under pressure in the Home Straight lay in and raced ungenerously. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began well from gate 1, raced towards rear on the middle track, passed some tired runners final 400M.
