Near the 1700 Metres was steadied to avoid LEATHER MASTER (A Badel) which shifted in when not clear. A Badel was advised to exercise more care. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped only fairly, raced at rear throughout, never a factor.

Bumped at the start. Raced keenly in the early stages. Lay in in the Home Straight and proved reluctant to shift to the outside of STORM RUNNER in the early part of the Home Straight. Over the concluding stages CHATEAU LE PECHE then proved difficult to ride out when it continued to lay in.

Bumped start, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the stands' side, hard ridden after passing 350M but only showed limited response, ran on evenly to the line.

Bumped at the start. Leaving the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid ESCAPE ROUTE and shifted to that runner’s outside. As a result HAKKA RADIANCE raced wide and without cover thereafter.

Out with rest, raced towards rear on the stands' rail, slightly improved in the middle stages, hard ridden after passing 350M, kept on evenly to the line.

Commenced well, positioned 1 to 2 lengths behind the leader on the stands' side, hard ridden after passing 300M, showed very good response, took the lead approaching 150M, kept on very well to the line, easily scored.

In the early stages raced keenly and for some distance near the 1600 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from ORIENTAL TYCOON. After the event M Chadwick reported that he was given no specific instructions other than to settle his mount where comfortable. He said COLOURFUL BARON was able to obtain a midfield position where it travelled well. He added COLOURFUL BARON had difficulty obtaining clear running over the final 200 Metres and as a result could not be fully ridden out to the finish of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <23/6/2025 Additional Veterinary Reports> After the race, COLOURFUL BARON was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. COLOURFUL BARON was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Whyte this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, COLOURFUL BARON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Blundered on jumping and became unbalanced, raced in midfield on the stands' rail, hard ridden from 300M, made some progress to take a place, no threat to the first two.

Slow to begin. Near the 150 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run between STORM RUNNER and ON THE LASH.

Began smartly, raced in 2nd, a length or so back, took the lead 350M, peaked and headed 150M, kept on evenly to the line.

Jumped awkwardly. When caught wide and without cover in the early stages was allowed to stride forward where it obtained a position outside the lead near the 1200 Metres.

Bumped start, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length, peaked and headed near 300M, kept on same pace to the line.

Jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Between the 450 Metres and the 150 Metres was held up for clear running.

Began awkwardly and made contact, positioned 2 to 3 lengths behind the leader, nearer to the middle track, hard ridden from 400M but only showed limited response, weakened gradually final furlong.

In the middle stages raced keenly and leaving the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid HAKKA RADIANCE. Between the 400 Metres and the 100 Metres was badly held up for clear running.

Bumped start, raced better than midfield on the middle track, made minor progress after passing 400M, peaked 200M, weakened thereafter.

After the event H Bowman stated that the instructions were to take up a forward position but had not expected to race as close as he did. He said due to the work the horse was required to do in the early stages to cross runners to its inside his mount was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. Trainer J Size confirmed the instructions issued. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
