Began well, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length, challenged by rival turning in, peaked and headed early in straight, weakened final 300M.

After the event J Orman advised that his instructions were to obtain a midfield position. He said when caught wide in the early stages he elected to continue forward and race outside the lead to avoid covering additional ground. Trainer W Y So confirmed the instructions issued. Sent for sampling post-race.

Taken back to race towards rear on the outside, 6 lengths or so back turning in, failed to close off in straight.

On jumping bumped with DEFINITIVE and became unbalanced. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well, positioned 1 to 2 lengths behind the leader on the inside, 2 wide from 500M, kept on well in straight to take 2nd, always held.

Approaching the 700 Metres was steadied away from MORGAN SUCCESS and as a result shifted out and made contact with CHING.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at rear on the inside, 7 lengths back turning in, passed some tired runners in straight.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 400 Metres was held up for clear running behind SUPREME AGILITY. Between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run to the inside of DEFINITIVE which was giving ground.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, 2 wide turning in, showed some response early in straight, peaked 200M, weakened gradually final 100M.

Near the 1400 Metres became unbalanced when it shifted in towards the running rail. When questioned Apprentice P N Wong stated that her instructions were to lead if circumstances permitted. She said TOURBILLON PRINCE jumped only fairly and she then rode it along to comply with her instructions. She said when positioned to the inside of DEFINITIVE in the early stages she was reluctant to continue to urge her mount forward as she was concerned that TOURBILLON PRINCE may commence to race keenly and for this reason she held her mount together and allowed DEFINITIVE to cross in the early stages. After considering her explanation and taking into account the sectional times of the race which showed the early and middle stages were run outside of standard time, Apprentice Wong was advised that, in the opinion of the Stewards, she had made an error of judgement in that she did not ride her mount in a more decisive manner to comply with her instructions to lead. Trainer T P Yung confirmed the instructions issued.

Began only fairly, positioned slightly behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, made some progress in straight to take a place, no threat to the first two.

Began fairly, raced 2 wide in midfield, 4 lengths or so back, 3 wide turning in, showed limited response early in straight, weakened final 150M.

On jumping bumped with MORGAN SUCCESS and became unbalanced. After the event Z Purton reported that his mount raced too keenly in the lead and as a result when placed under pressure in the Home Straight did not respond to his riding. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped shortly after start, raced 3 wide with cover behind midfield, similar position on turn, made some headway in straight to make frame without threatening.

Jumped only fairly. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running when unable to improve between TOURBILLON PRINCE and OUTGATE. SUPREME AGILITY was then shifted to the inside of TOURBILLON PRINCE to obtain clear running. Approaching the 200 Metres SUPREME AGILITY was again held up for clear running between TOURBILLON PRINCE and DEFINITIVE which was giving ground. As a result SUPREME AGILITY could not be ridden out for the remainder of the event.

Clean jump, sent forward to race in 2nd, 2 wide, challenged the leader turning in, took the lead early in straight, kept on very well to the line and scored.

Bumped near the 700 Metres. After the event M F Poon reported that his mount raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event and near the 200 Metres became unbalanced and did not finish the race off thereafter. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <19/5/2025 Additional Veterinary Report>CHING, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. CHING was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C W Chang this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to have sustained a left front tendon injury. Before being allowed to race again, CHING will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Shifted out at start and bumped, raced 2 wide behind midfield, there to turn, peaked early in straight, weakened 300M, eased inside final furlong.
