Jumped with them, sent forward to race in 2nd, 2 wide, 1/2L back on turn, kept on evenly in straight.

Began well from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, 3 lengths or so back on turn, angled out 350M, finished off evenly.

On jumping was crowded between NIMBLE NIMBUS and CALIFORNIATOTALITY which shifted out. When the pace steadied in the middle stages commenced a forward move near the 800 Metres. When unable to cross to the lead, C P BRAVE was then obliged to race wide and without cover thereafter.

Began well, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened inside final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the event Y L Chung stated that his mount was able to lead as expected but when placed under pressure in the Home Straight did not respond strongly to his riding which he attributed to the horse being up in grade tonight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
