Moderately away from gate 1, raced at rear, 4 lengths back in the middle stages, commenced move approaching 400M, showed very good response, took the lead near 75M, kept on well to the line.

Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Apprentice P N Wong pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference leaving the 900 Metres (see WIND SPEEDER). After the event Apprentice P N Wong confirmed that with the blinkers being applied for the first time she was instructed to lead on the horse from its wide barrier. Noted to have a small abrasion to the left hock. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped with them, raced towards rear, peaked on run 400M, weakened final furlong.

Began well, positioned 3 lengths behind the leader on the stands' rail, hard ridden approaching 300M but only showed limited response, weakened final furlong. (Lost right front plate.)

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. After the event C L Chau stated that over the concluding stages his whip became entangled in his reins which restricted his ability to fully test his mount out to the finish of the event.

Jumped awkwardly. Steadied leaving the 900 Metres to avoid SUPER EAGLE. From the 400 Metres until the 300 Metres was held up for clear running. Lay in in the Home Straight.

On jumping was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced. Apprentice P N Wong (CIRCUIT VICTORY) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that leaving the 900 Metres she allowed her mount to shift in when not clear of WIND SPEEDER, resulting in WIND SPEEDER being checked to avoid the heels of CIRCUIT VICTORY and also striking the heels of CIRCUIT VICTORY and further as she did shift in when not clear she steadied the pace which resulted in EVER SMART which was following and also SUPER EAGLE having to be checked. Apprentice Wong was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Sunday, 25 May 2025 and to expire on Sunday, 1 June 2025 on which day she may resume race riding (2 Sha Tin racedays - as she is not eligible to ride at Happy Valley). In addition, Apprentice Wong was fined $10,000. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered her neutral race riding record.

Shifted in at start and made contact, raced in 3rd, 2 lengths back at 400M, peaked 250M, weakened inside final furlong.

Slow to begin. After the event H Bowman stated that with the early stages of the event being run outside of standard time FAIRY HORSE was unable to finish the race off strongly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

After the event A Atzeni stated that with the early stages of the event being run outside of standard time FLYING PHANTOM raced keenly. He said after being steadied away from SPEEDY SMARTIE near the 600 Metres FLYING PHANTOM did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

After the event B Avdulla stated that LUCKY MAN was forced very wide and without cover from the 800 Metres and as a result was unable to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Away well, sent forward to take the lead, led by 3/4L, kept on well final 400M but unable to hold off the winner final 75M, finished 2nd.

After the event Z Purton stated that after being checked leaving the 900 Metres SUPER EAGLE then raced keenly for some distance thereafter and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER EAGLE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Average to begin, raced in midfield, hard ridden after passing 350M and made minor progress, peaked 150M, ran on evenly to the line.
