Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between SMART CITY and ORIENTAL SURPRISE, both of which shifted ground. In the middle stages raced keenly. After the event A Badel stated that his mount was unable to quicken when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped only fairly and then was crowded between SMILING EMPEROR and ACE WAR which shifted out abruptly. After the event Y L Chung stated that after being crowded at the start his mount settled further back in the field than what had been intended. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Moderately away, raced 3 wide with cover towards rear, very wide turning in, made good progress in straight without threatening.

Shifted out abruptly at the start and was bumped. After the event J Orman stated that from his inside barrier he was able to hold a handy position. He said the only excuse he could offer for the horse’s performance was that it may be better suited by being ridden more conservatively in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

After the event A Atzeni stated that from the 800 Metres he endeavoured to ride his mount forward but when TO INFINITY shifted out he was taken wider. He said after this CONFRINGO was unable to continue with its forward move and weakened in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
