Away with them, raced 2 wide in midfield, 5 lengths or so back, commenced move 400M, very wide into straight, finished off well to take a place.

Shortly after the start was badly crowded between ETERNAL FORTUNE which was taken in slightly by YOUTHFUL SPIRITS and SEASONS WIT which was taken out by COLOURFUL KING which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider. In the middle stages raced keenly.

Began well from the widest draw, sent forward to race in 2nd, 2 wide, a length behind the leader turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened final 100M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Shortly after the start was crowded, bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced. Approaching the 800 Metres was eased to avoid WATCH THIS ONE (K Teetan) which shifted in when not quite clear. K Teetan was advised to exercise more care. Approaching the 250 Metres was bumped by KING ECCELLENTE which shifted out.

Taken back to race 2 wide behind midfield, there to turn, angled out 350M, bumped 250M, ran on evenly to the line.

Shortly after the start was badly crowded for room between WATCH THIS ONE and YOUTHFUL SPIRITS and became unbalanced. After the event, H T Mo stated that his instructions were to obtain a handy position. He said after being crowded shortly after the start he was obliged to make use of his mount in the early stages to comply with his instructions and as a result ETERNAL FORTUNE was left without a finishing effort over the concluding stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back from gate 11, raced at tail, 9 lengths or so back, still last turning in, taken wide in straight and made good progress to be nearest on line. (See Racing Incidents.)
