Jumped with them, sent forward to take the lead, challenged by rival from 400M, made contact early in straight, kept on well but unable to hold off the first two final 50M.

When questioned regarding the improved performance, Trainer W K Mo stated that at its most recent start the horse was disadvantaged when it jumped only fairly and the rider was obliged to make use of SPICY SPANGLE in the early stages. He said tonight SPICY SPANGLE was advantaged by drawing an inside barrier and being able to trail the lead without being pressured to do so. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped shortly after start, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, challenged the leader from 400M, made contact early in straight, peaked 200M, weakened final 50M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Between the 150 Metres and the 100 Metres raced tight to the inside of PLENTIFUL (M F Poon) which lay in. Near the 100 Metres FUN N FUN TOGETHER was then steadied to avoid PLENTIFUL which continued to shift in. M F Poon was reprimanded and advised that he is required to make a greater effort to prevent his mounts from shifting in when not clear.

Bumped shortly after start, raced 2 wide towards rear, 3 wide on turn, made little progress in straight.

After the event, Apprentice E C W Wong stated that his instructions were to hold a more forward position but after jumping only fairly his mount did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position.

After the event, M L Yeung stated that the instructions were to hold a forward position but when unable to cross runners in the early stages his mount raced wide and without cover throughout the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
