From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. For some distance after the 300 Metres raced tight to the inside of RUN RUN SMART when that runner shifted in before being corrected by its rider. Passing the 150 Metres EASON raced tight to the inside of ABSOLUTE HONOUR. Near the 100 Metres H Bowman dropped his left rein. Over the concluding stages raced tight to the inside of YOUTHFUL SPIRITS.
