Near the 1100 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of INTREPID WINNER when INTREPID WINNER went amiss. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

In the early stages raced ungenerously when being steadied in an attempt to obtain cover behind INTREPID WINNER.

Moderately away from gate 1, positioned a length behind the leader on rail, angled out 350M, finished off evenly.

Approaching the 1300 Metres was steadied to avoid THE AZURE. Near the 1100 Metres was checked to avoid INTREPID WINNER when INTREPID WINNER went amiss. <13/3/2025 Additional Veterinary Report> The Veterinary Surgeon reported that SMART CITY was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, SMART CITY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Made contact at start, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, there to turn, took the lead 200M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner final 50M, just beaten by a head.

Slow to begin. Near the 1300 Metres became unbalanced when crowded by AMAZING AWARD which, after improving to the inside of THE AZURE (L Ferraris), was then taken in by THE AZURE before THE AZURE was corrected by its rider. A short distance later, SUPER TREASURE (Y L Chung) shifted in, resulting in THE AZURE then racing tight to the inside of SUPER TREASURE. Both L Ferraris and Y L Chung were advised to exercise more care. Near the 1100 Metres was steadied away from INTREPID WINNER when INTREPID WINNER went amiss.

Jumped with them, raced behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, made good progress early in straight, no extra final 100M.
