After the event, L Ferraris reported that with the early stages of the event being run inside of standard time and also his mount coming back in distance, CHILLI BABA did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to hold its position despite his efforts and as a result became detached from the field. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

After the event, Apprentice E C W Wong confirmed the instructions were to take up a forward position. He said after crossing MANYTHANKS FOREVER, FRUITY WARRIOR raced keenly, particularly when ON THE LASH improved to its outside. He added under pressure in the Home Straight FRUITY WARRIOR gave ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped only fairly and then was crowded between GALLANT CROWN and WINNING SEVEN. After the event, M Chadwick reported that his mount did not travel well during the race and made a respiratory noise. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Moderately away, raced in midfield on the outside, travelled keenly in the early stages, no cover for the majority of the race, peaked 500M, weakened early in straight.
