Crowded shortly after start, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, made some headway in straight. (Lame right front leg next day.)

On jumping blundered, became unbalanced and lost ground.

Jumped well, raced in midfield, 3 to 4 wide, dropped towards rear 450M, failed to make any progress in straight.

Bumped at the start. Between the 400 Metres and near the 250 Metres was held up for clear running.

Taken back to race towards rear on the outside, 4 to 5 lengths back on turn, very wide into straight, finished off very strongly to score by a neck.

After the event, M L Yeung stated that his instructions were to obtain a midfield position. He said in the early stages he settled slightly further back due to the pace of the event being run inside of standard time. He added, in his opinion, COLOURFUL WINNER would be better suited racing on the turf.

Began only fairly from a wide draw, raced at tail, 5 to 6 lengths back on turn, made no impression in straight.

Over the concluding stages shifted in towards YEAH BUDDY when that runner shifted out slightly, resulting in FUN N FUN TOGETHER being steadied when awkwardly placed close to YEAH BUDDY. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Jumped awkwardly and made contact with the left side of its barrier, raced prominently on the inside, shared lead on turn, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the winner late.

Approaching the 600 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from KA YING WARRIOR.

Began only fairly, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, finished off well to take a place.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event, H Bowman stated that his mount did not travel strongly throughout the event due to the early stages of the race being run inside of standard time. He added as a result his mount finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began well, raced better than midfield, 2 wide, outpaced halfway, eased early in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

On jumping was bumped and became unbalanced. Near the 700 Metres hung out towards the heels of FUN N FUN TOGETHER and was steadied. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped well from a wide draw, took the lead, shared lead with rivals on turn, peaked and headed early in straight, weakened final 300M.

Slow to begin. After the event, Apprentice E C W Wong could offer no excuse for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of JOLLY COMPANION was considered disappointing as compared to its last start. Before being allowed to race again, JOLLY COMPANION will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Began well, raced slightly better than midfield, 3 wide, similar position on turn, one-paced in the run home.
