Shifted in at start and made contact, raced in 2nd, 1-3/4L back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened inside final furlong.

Bumped at the start. Near the 650 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from COSMO LIGHT. Between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres was held up for clear running. Near the 200 Metres was checked when disappointed for clear running between MASTER OF ALL and SKY DEEP (A Atzeni) which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. A Atzeni was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances. As a result, ANOTHER WORLD did not obtain clear running until approaching the 50 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped awkwardly, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, showed some response early in straight, no clear run near 200M, ran on evenly to the line.

When questioned, A Atzeni stated that the instructions were to hold a forward position but preferably with cover. He said when SKY DEEP jumped well he was obliged to go forward and cross runners to his inside which resulted in SKY DEEP racing in a more forward position than what he had anticipated. When questioned regarding his riding out, A Atzeni stated that when his mount shifted in near the 200 Metres it took some time to respond to his efforts to correct. He said as a result passing the 100 Metres SKY DEEP shifted out which presented a run to the inside for the winner ANOTHER WORLD. The Stewards were satisfied that Jockey Atzeni was riding in a manner to look after the safety of his fellow rider. Sent for sampling post-race.

Crowded shortly after start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 5 to 6 lengths back turning in, finished off strongly to score by a nose.

Bumped at the start. Z Purton was warned in relation to using his whip in a forehand manner forward of the saddle on a number of occasions over the concluding stages. Sent for sampling post-race.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced behind midfield on the inside, 2 wide turning in, no clear run 300M to 250M, made good progress thereafter to take a place, no threat to the first two.

Near the 150 Metres was steadied when awkwardly placed between NEWBORN MIRACLE and ANOTHER WORLD which shifted out after being checked. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Crowded start, positioned 2-1/2L behind the leader on the inside, saved ground throughout, peaked early in straight, weakened inside final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. When commencing to finish the race off well became held up for clear running behind NEWBORN MIRACLE near the 100 Metres and as a result could not be ridden out to the finish of the event.

Slightly show out and made contact, raced 2 wide towards rear, found rail approaching 800M, saved ground on turn, made minor progress in straight.

On jumping was steadied when crowded between ANOTHER WORLD and MAGNIFICENT NINE, both of which shifted ground.

Out in line, raced slightly better than midfield, 3-1/2L back turning in, showed good response in straight, took the lead approaching 100M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner on line.

After the event, C Y Ho stated that his mount failed to respond to his riding in the early part of the Home Straight and when not in a competitive position he eased it down from the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of JOYOUS LILY, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, JOYOUS LILY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
