Stewards' Comments
Jumped well from gate 1, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/2L turning in, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the winner close home.
Incident Report
When questioned regarding the improved performance, Trainer K H Ting stated that since being transferred to his stable he had identified that GOOD LUCK WIN was not comfortable racing around other horses and for this reason he reapplied blinkers to the horse. He said this together with GOOD LUCK WIN being assisted by the early stages of the event being run outside of standard time were the reasons for the horse’s improved performance tonight. Sent for sampling post-race.
Made contact at start, raced towards rear, 5 lengths back on turn, very wide into straight, made good progress in the run home, nearest finish.

Incident Report
Jumped only fairly. After the event, J McDonald stated that with the early and middle stages of the event being run outside of standard time, when the race developed into a sprint home from the 500 Metres, TAKE ACTION was left flat-footed at that stage and took some time to respond to his riding. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Incident Report
After the event, A Badel stated that his instructions were to obtain a position with cover. He said when caught wide in the early stages and the pace of the event being run outside of standard time, he elected to allow his mount to stride forward and race outside the lead to avoid covering additional ground.
Began fairly and made contact, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, same position on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)
