Shortly after the start shifted in and bumped with DURHAM STAR. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter. (Mucus.)

After the event, K Teetan stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position, but with blinkers removed tonight, DRAGON STAR failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position.

Out with rest, raced towards rear of midfield on the outside, 6 to 7 lengths back on turn, made some progress in straight to take a place, no threat to the first two.

Near the 1500 Metres, when being shifted across behind runners, was steadied away from LITTLE FAIRY. For some distance approaching the 50 Metres could not be fully tested when positioned close to the heels of DRAGON STAR. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped only fairly, raced 2 wide at rear, 8 lengths back on turn, finished off well to make frame without threatening.

After the event, C L Chau stated that his mount failed to travel during the event and was disappointing in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, DOUBLE WIN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Began awkwardly, raced towards rear on the outside early, sent forward after passing 1050M, raced in 2nd approaching 700M, a length back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened gradually final furlong.
