Began smartly from gate 1, sent forward to take the lead, travelled comfortably to turn, kept on well in straight to hold off the challengers.

Near the 1500 Metres made contact with SPANGLE FORTUNE when SPANGLE FORTUNE was positioned tight to the inside of HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped with them, raced 2 wide in midfield, improved after passing 800M, challenged the leader turning in, kept on well in straight to take 2nd, always held.

When making a forward move near the 700 Metres made contact with ALL ARE MINE when that runner shifted out slightly. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.

Out with rest, raced 2 wide slightly better than midfield, angled out approaching 700M, 4 wide turning in, finished off well to take a place.

Near the 700 Metres made contact with FIREFOOT.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced towards rear on the outside, very wide turning in, made very good progress in straight to be nearest on line.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, moved a bit closer after passing 700M, wide into straight, made some headway in the run home.

Passing the 200 Metres shifted in abruptly, resulting in its rider M F Poon having to stop riding and straighten his mount. M F Poon stated that the instructions were to hold a more forward position but after jumping only fairly his mount failed to show sufficient pace in the early stages to comply with those instructions.

Moderately away from the widest draw, raced slightly behind midfield on the outside, moved a bit closer on turn, made minor progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Near the 100 Metres raced in restricted room between MEEPMEEP and HAILTOTHEVICTORS which shifted in slightly. H Bentley stated that the intention was to hold a forward position. He said despite riding his mount along in the early stages he was unable to hold a more forward position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began well, raced slightly better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, showed limited response in straight, kept on same pace to the line.

Near the 1500 Metres made contact with the running rail when racing tight to the inside of FIREFOOT. When being eased to allow SPANGLE FORTUNE to cross in the early stages commenced to race keenly and as a result was steadied to avoid SPANGLE FORTUNE near the 1200 Metres. Near the 150 Metres raced in restricted room between ALL ARE MINE and SPANGLE FORTUNE which shifted out.

Made contact at start, positioned 1-1/2L behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened gradually inside final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

Bumped at the start. Bumped near the 1500 Metres. M Chadwick reported that his mount did not run out the 1800 Metres of today’s race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Moderately away, raced in midfield on the inside, 2 wide approaching 700M, 4 lengths or so back turning in, one-paced in straight.

Near the 1200 Metres was steadied to avoid MEGA FORCE. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running.

Taken back from gate 13, raced towards rear on the inside, angled out approaching 500M, made no impression in straight.

Slightly slow out, raced at tail, 8-1/2L back turning in, made little progress in straight.

When commencing to give ground near the 200 Metres raced in restricted room between ALL ARE MINE and MEGA FORCE which was taken out by SPANGLE FORTUNE. Y L Chung stated that his mount did not run out the 1800 Metres of today’s race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

B Avdulla reported that when pressured from the 500 Metres his mount did not respond to his riding and gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
