Taken back to race at rear on the inside, moved a bit closer after passing 800M, 3 to 4 lengths back in the middle stages, commenced move 550M, very wide turning in, closed off well to take a place, no threat to the first two.

Reared as stalls opened and started slowly, raced behind midfield on the inside, 2 wide after entering the back straight, 4 lengths back on turn, very wide into straight, one-paced in the run home. (See Racing Incidents.)

Approaching the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of UNITED ENDEAVORS to continue into clear running. Near the 150 Metres CHARITY GAIN was then held up behind TO INFINITY when that runner lay in and as a result CHARITY GAIN did not obtain clear running until leaving the 100 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well from gate 1, sat right behind the leader on rail early, dropped to midfield in the middle stages, saved ground throughout, kept on well early in straight, weakened final 100M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Clean jump, sent forward to take the lead, headed near 700M, positioned 1-1/2L behind the leader on turn, finished off evenly.

Began smartly, sent forward to race prominently, 2 wide, 3/4L back turning in, finished off well to score by a head.

After the event, L Ferraris reported that after being placed under pressure in the Home Straight his mount made an abnormal respiratory noise. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began only fairly, raced behind midfield on the outside, 3 lengths or so back, commenced move 800M, took the lead near 700M, led by 3/4L turning in, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the winner close home.

Jumped awkwardly and then shortly after the start was bumped by CONFRINGO which shifted out. Lay in over the final 200 Metres and approaching the winning post became awkwardly positioned close to the heels of CONFRINGO. After the event, A Badel reported that after jumping awkwardly and then being crowded for room, FAIRY HORSE settled slightly further back than intended. He said, in his opinion, FAIRY HORSE did not run out tonight’s 1650 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

After the event, H Bowman reported that he was able to obtain a position outside the leader BEER PALACE in the early stages but NORTHERN BEAST failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight. He said, in his opinion, NORTHERN BEAST may be better suited by being ridden with cover. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back to race at rear on the outside, 5 lengths back, found rail near 550M, saved ground on turn, angled out 350M, one-paced in the run home. (See Racing Incidents.)

Approaching the 200 Metres was shifted to the inside of NORTHERN BEAST in an attempt to obtain clear running but then raced tight to the inside of NORTHERN BEAST, resulting in KIMBERLEY having difficulty obtaining clear running between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres.

When giving ground near the 150 Metres was steadied when crowded between NORTHERN BEAST and CHARITY GAIN which shifted in.

As the start was effected, bounded and made contact with the left side of its barrier, resulting in its rider K De Melo becoming unbalanced and ON THE LASH losing ground.
