Jumped well from the widest draw, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/4L turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 100M, stayed on evenly to take a place.

Bumped on jumping. Over the final 100 Metres was bumped on a number of occasions by FORERUNNER which shifted in. Sent for sampling post-race.

Moderately away, raced slightly behind midfield on the inside, 2 wide from 450M, wider turning in, made minor progress in the run home.

Approaching the 150 Metres shifted to the inside of NORTHERN FIRE BALL to continue into clear running and as a result made contact with TEAM TEAM FOLKS. FORERUNNER then raced tight between NORTHERN FIRE BALL and TEAM TEAM FOLKS over the final 100 Metres and made contact with TEAM TEAM FOLKS on a number of occasions. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well, showed no early speed, raced at rear on the outside, 8 lengths or so back turning in, failed to make any progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

For a short distance near the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a tight run between ICONICAL and WINNING MONEY.

Jumped only fairly and then was crowded shortly after the start and became unbalanced. Z Purton stated that after being crowded shortly after the start his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped shortly after start, raced better than midfield but trapped 3 wide, travelled keenly, moved closer after passing 700M, no cover throughout, made some progress early in straight, peaked 100M, ran on evenly to the line.

Jumped only fairly, positioned a length behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, hard ridden early in straight, checked near 200M, peaked 100M, weakened thereafter.

Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with TEAM TEAM FOLKS. Near the 900 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied to avoid GOLDEN EMPIRE which shifted out slightly. L Hewitson could offer no explanation for the horse’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Average to begin, raced slightly behind midfield on the outside, 3-1/2L back turning in, showed very good response in straight, took the lead 100M, kept on very well to the line.

Shortly after the start was badly crowded between WINNING MONEY and FLASH STAR which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider.

Began smartly from gate 11, raced prominently, 2 wide, there to turn, kept on well in straight to take 2nd.

Shifted in at the start and made contact with ALWAYS AHEAD. R Kingscote reported that in this incident his left foot was displaced from his stirrup for a short distance. Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Fast into stride, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened gradually final 100M.

Shortly after the start shifted out and made contact with WINNING MONEY. PRESTIGE SUPERIOR then raced tight between WINNING MONEY and FORERUNNER which shifted out slightly.
