Jumped only fairly. Lay out in the Home Straight and near the 100 Metres shifted out towards ARMOUR WAR EAGLE, resulting in its rider D B McMonagle having to straighten the horse.

Made contact with the left side of its starting gate on jumping, raced at rear on the inside, moved a bit closer after passing 1000M, 2 wide from 700M, no daylight early in straight, cleared 200M, closed off strongly to score.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A Badel stated that he was instructed to take up a more forward position than its most recent start as connections were of the opinion that there was a lack of pace in the race.

H T Mo stated that he was instructed to take up a more forward position than its most recent start as connections were of the opinion that there was a lack of pace in the race.

Shifted out on jumping, resulting in its rider Y L Chung having to correct his mount. Near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid GLOWING PRAISES when racing keenly. DARYL FLASH then continued to race keenly in the middle stages.

Began smartly from the widest draw, tracked leaders, 3 wide, there to turn, peaked early in straight, weakened inside final furlong.

M L Yeung reported that over the final 100 Metres his mount had difficulty obtaining clear running as he attempted to improve into a narrow run between JOKER ORBIT and FLYING FORTUNE.

Slow to begin and then was hampered shortly after the start when DARYL FLASH shifted out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.

Began well, raced 2 wide better than midfield, wider on turn, hard ridden from 300M, took the lead 100M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner final 50M.
