Jumped well, positioned 2 wide slightly better than midfield, angled out 350M, finished off well to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

Bumped at the start. Near the 350 Metres improved to the inside of PERPETUAL POWER and made contact with GOLD TACK. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well from a wide draw, positioned 2 wide, 1-1/2L back, carried wider turning in, showed very good response in straight, hit the front 150M, kept on strongly to the line, won comfortably.

Leaving the 1600 Metres when being crossed by NINJA DERBY got its head up when racing keenly. In the Home Straight lay in and proved difficult to ride out.

Began smartly from gate 9, took the early lead, headed near 800M, a length back on turn, showed some response early in straight, peaked on run 150M, weakened gradually final 100M.

Shortly after the start was bumped by ROSEWOOD FLEETFOOT which shifted out.

Began awkwardly and lost ground, raced at tail, 7 lengths or so back on turn, angled out early in straight, made contact near 200M, made very good progress final 100M to be nearest on line.

Near the 250 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of COOL BLUE to continue into clear running. B Avdulla reported that his instructions were to settle where comfortable. He said after STAR BROSE jumped awkwardly and made contact with WAH MAY WAI WAI it settled further back in the field than he had anticipated.

Bumped start, raced 3 wide in midfield, no cover throughout, very wide turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened gradually final 100M.

Near the 350 Metres STORM RUNNER improved to the inside of PERPETUAL POWER when that runner shifted out. A short distance later PERPETUAL POWER (M Guyon) shifted back in, resulting in STORM RUNNER making slight contact with GOLD TACK and STORM RUNNER then being turned in due to the contact, resulting in GOLD TACK having to be steadied when crowded. The Stewards were satisfied that Jockey Guyon had endeavoured to correct his mount when it shifted back in. No action was taken.

Began well from the widest draw, sent forward to race prominently on the outside, took the lead near 800M, led by a length turning in, peaked and headed 150M, weakened final 100M.

Jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 1200 Metres was steadied away from SILVER KING.

Jumped with them, raced slightly behind midfield on the inside, 3 lengths or so back, there to turn, made some progress in straight.

Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped. Near the 300 Metres was hampered when being shifted out to avoid PERPETUAL POWER. J McDonald could offer no explanation for the horse’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped shortly after start, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground throughout, kept on well in straight to take a place without threatening.

Bumped at the start. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. The performance of SILVER KING, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, SILVER KING will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
