Moderately away from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, 3 lengths or so back, saved ground on turn, angled out 400M, failed to close off in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped well, sent forward to take the early lead, headed near 1300M, 3/4L back on turn, showed good response in straight, hit the front 200M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner final 50M.

Began smartly, raced 2 wide in midfield, 3 lengths or so back, commenced move approaching 400M, finished off very strongly to score.

Jumped awkwardly, got its head up and shifted out. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 150 Metres was disappointed for clear running between PRAWNS ELEVEN and CAPTAIN WIN and was then shifted to the inside of PRAWNS ELEVEN to continue into clear running.

Out with rest, raced at rear on the outside, 7 lengths back, peaked on turn, weakened early in straight, finished tailed out, unacceptable performance.

Moderately away from a wide draw, sent forward to race prominently on the outside, took the lead after passing 1300M, led by 3/4L on turn, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 200M, weakened close home.

Near the 800 Metres was steadied when momentarily crowded by LUCY IN THE SKY (K Teetan) which shifted in before being corrected. K Teetan was advised to exercise more care. After the event, H Bentley reported that although the horse has raced well on rain affected going in the past, it did not appreciate today’s "Yielding” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Clean jump, raced 2 wide better than midfield, 2 lengths or so back, similar position in the middle stages, kept on well in straight to make frame, always held.

On jumping was taken wider by STORM RIDER.

Began awkwardly, positioned 5 lengths behind the leader on the inside, saved ground throughout, failed to make any progress in straight.
