Average to begin, positioned 3 wide better than midfield, 2 lengths or so back, wider turning in, showed very good response in straight, took the lead 50M, kept on well to hold off the challenger late.

Began well from gate 12, sent forward to race prominently on the outside, shared lead on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened final 300M. (See Racing Incidents.)

On jumping made contact with the left side of the starting gate, resulting in DOUBLE BINGO jumping only fairly. Shortly after DOUBLE BINGO was then bumped by HANDSOME BLOND which shifted out abruptly despite the efforts of its rider K Teetan. Near the 400 Metres was shifted to the outside of BEAUTY FORMULA to obtain clear running.

Taken back to race towards rear on the outside, a bit closer on turn, very wide into straight, made some progress early in straight, peaked 200M, kept on evenly to the line.

Was left racing wide and without cover from the 700 Metres.

Began well, positioned 2 wide, 2 lengths or so back, challenged the leader after turning in, peaked 100M, kept on evenly to the line.

Bumped at the start and became unbalanced. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Apprentice E C W Wong stated that his mount resented the kickback when positioned behind runners during the race and this was the principal reason why it did not run on strongly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped start, raced at rear, 7 lengths or so back, moved a bit closer in the middle stages, 4 lengths or so back turning in, passed some tired runners in straight.

Over the final 50 Metres could not be ridden out when racing tight to the inside of LUCKY BLESSING.

Began awkwardly and made contact, raced 2 wide behind midfield, angled out after passing 450M, finished off very strongly, just beaten by a narrow margin.

Bumped on jumping. Z Purton could offer no excuse for his mount’s failure to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Out with rest, raced at rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, passed some tired runners in the run home.

K Teetan reported that after being crossed by LUCKY BLESSING leaving the 700 Metres his mount got its head up and ran out when steadied to avoid the heels of LUCKY BLESSING. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
