PORTLAND SKY was trained by Matt Laurie with 4 wins and 2 seconds in 10 starts, winning distance from 1000M to 1200M. He won on his debut in a 1000M Ballarat Synthetic race and landed G3 Red Anchor Stakes at Moonee Valley on the following start. After a short, he took part in G1 Oakleigh Plate with carrying light weight under apprentice jockey Teo Nugent where he sat handy early and ran on for dead-heat win with CELEBRITY QUEEN, then he ran on for 2nd in G1 William Reid Stakes with Mark Zahra in the saddle. The son of DEEP FIELD commenced stud duties since 2022 and stationed at Widden Stud where his first crop just turned age 2. His fee in 2025 is AUD$ 16,500. TALENTS CHAMPION is the first crop racing foals of his sire PORTLAND SKY who turned as stallion as only G1 winning son of DEEP FIELD at stud.
