TAGALOA was trained by Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young with 3 wins, 1 second and 4 thirds in 13 starts, winning distance from 1000M to 1400M. He finished 3rd on his debut in 1000M G3 Maribyrnong Plate and scored in the following start over 1000M at Moonee Valley. After a short break, he ran on for 4th in Blue Diamond Preview - C&G, then landed G1 Blue Diamond Stakes with Michael Walker on board, finished 2nd in Todman Stakes and 4th in Golden Slipper. He made 7 attempts during his 3YO season where his best placing was 1st in G3 CS Hayes Stakes under Luke Currie. After finished 9th in All Aged Stakes, the son of LORD KANALOA retired from racing and joined Yulong Stud since 2021 with 2 black type contests winner. His fee in 2025 is AUD$ 22,000.BABY SAKURA was purchased by current owner Mr. Chan Tak Wa at AUD$ 70,000 in 2024 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale. He was trained by Matthew Vella in Australia and took part in 4 barrier trials where he was slightly slow out and made some ground for 5th in an 800M trial (24th Feb 2025) on good going, sat handy early and ran on for 2nd in a 1000M section (25th Mar 2025) on good going. On his 3rd trial over 1000M (25th Aug 2025), he taken back early and ran on one-paced for 5th on heavy ground, then sat handy early and ran on well up rail to win a 1200M section (4th Sept 2025) on soft going. Two of his half-brother and sister won in sprint races. The bay gelding should be most suited from 1200M to 1600M and fine at Happy Valley.
