SHALAA, a son of INVINCIBLE SPIRIT, was trained by John Gosden with 6 wins in 8 starts while all winners were over 1200M. The former Al Shaqab Racing’s runner showed his colour at age 2 that he landed G1 Prix Morny and Middle Park Stakes with Frankie Dettori on board while he was selected as 2015 champion 2YO in France. SHALAA commenced stud duties in 2017 in France and Australia with 22 black type contests winners, with Australian Magic Millions 2YO Classic champion SHAQUERO and Matron Stakes winner NO SPEAK ALEXANDER as his representatives. His service fee in 2025 is AUD$19,800.E HOPEFUL was trained by John O'Shea & Tom Charlton in Australia. He took part in 2 barrier trials where he settled at second last early and ran on for 5th in an 800M trial (7th Jul 2025) on heavy ground, then jumped well to lead all the way in a 1000M section (23rd Jul 2025) on soft going. His dam HEAVENLY MUM is half-sisters of former HK runners CHEERFUL BOY and BEAR HERO while she recorded 3 wins from 1500M to 1650M and her foal SHALMUM also by SHALAA won at 1400M.
