Soon took up running with rails run holding narrow advantage to 300M, fought on under pressure until swamped for a placing final stages.
Showed good speed to lead, ridden along 300m out, headed by winner 150m out, stuck to task.
Began from the middle draw to make all, taking advantage of the slow early tempo to obtain rails run over 800M out, driven over 2L clear briefly inside the 150M, won cozily.
Chased leader, every chance 300m out, faded final 200m.
Jumped awkwardly and lost ground, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, kept on same pace in straight. (Sustained an abrasion to its left front leg.)
