BETTER THAN READY, son of MORE THAN READY, was trained by Kelly Schweida with a record of 8 wins, 1 second and 2 thirds in 16 starts including 4 listed contests and placing 3rd in G1 BTC Cup, winning distance from 1000M to 1200M. He joined the stallion roaster in 2015. Most of his progeny raced at Queensland with 15 black type contests winner including G1 Kingsford Smith Cup champion APACHE CHASE. His service fee in 2025 is AUD$ 27,500. LOYAL BRIGHT was formerly known as LA RAZA and trained by Lindsay Hatch in Australia with 3 wins in 3 starts with sheepskin cheek pieces on. After 2 barrier trials, he led all the way to win on his debut in a 1000M race at Toowoomba, then taken back early, shifted out at turn and dashed well to win with 5.3Ls at 1100M on heavy ground. On his last overseas attempt at 1300M, he sat on-pace early and ran on well to win with something in hand. Same sire runners tend to be precocious and his full-brother PORKY won over 1650M.
