RUBICK, a son of ENCOSTA DE LAGO, was trained by Gerald Ryan with a record of 3 wins and 1 third in 8 starts including G2 Schillaci Stakes, G3 Blue Diamond Prelude (Colts and Geldings) and placing 4th in G1 Blue Diamond Stakes. He joined the Coolmore's stallion roaster at the beginning and now stands at Swettenham Stud with 14 black type contests winners; with winner of 2019 The Everest YES YES YES, Golden Rose Stakes and Orr Stakes winner JACQUINOT as his representative. RUBICK has been sold to Huayu Horse, China in 2025. FOREST KING was sold at AUD$ 330,000 in 2024 Inglis Ready2Race Sale where he finished 200M in 10.45s during the breeze up run. There are only few RUBICK’s in HK and most of them could score. His dam LADY OF WAR made no success in her racing career and her first foal MANHATTAN DAWN retired as a maiden after 7 attempts. The bay gelding made good sectionals during the breeze up run and he should be most effective from 1000M to 1400M and fine at Happy Valley.
