WINFIELD was formerly known as OPAZO and trained by J B Quadros in Brazil with 4 wins, 3 seconds and 1 third in 8 starts. He took part in 6 races at age 2 and beaten by SNOWFIELD twice in a G2 race and G1 event respectively while he landed a 1500M G3 race on dirt with 3 runners. He won twice after turned 3YO where he led all the way to win 1600M G1 Ipiranga and 2000M Jockey Club De Sao Paulo with blinkers at Cidade Jardim that drew clear from SAGACIOUS LIFE who lifted Derby Paulista afterwards and won on his HK debut in The Panasonic Cup. His dam DALTIVA collected 5 wins from 1000M to 1600M and half-brother NEW ORDER ran on well in sprint events. He was found right fore fetlock injury in May 2025.
