Average to begin, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1-3/4L turning in, kicked clear early in straight, kept on strongly to the line, easily scored.

Bumped on jumping, raced at rear on the outside, 7 lengths or so back turning in, made good progress in straight to make frame without threatening.

R Kingscote was warned in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion near the 250 Metres.

Bumped on jumping, raced at tail, 8 lengths or so back turning in, made some progress early in straight, no clear run final 100M, eased close home.

Shifted out at the start, made contact with ORIENTAL SURPRISE and became unbalanced. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 100 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between HAPPY TANGO and SOMETHING JONAH which shifted out. As a result SUPER ELITE was not able to be ridden out to the finish of the event.

Out with rest, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened inside final furlong.

Jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event Z Purton stated that his mount did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight after settling back in the field. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Away with them, raced slightly behind midfield on outer, 7 lengths or so back turning in, failed to close off in straight.
