Slightly slow out and made contact, raced towards rear on the outside, commenced move 800M, 2 lengths or so back on turn, finished off strongly to score. (See Racing Incidents.)

Incident Report
After the event A Badel stated that his mount jumped only fairly and was then hampered when crowded by MR ALADDIN which shifted out which resulted in his mount settling further back than intended. Sent for sampling post-race.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide slightly better than midfield early, dropped to midfield after entering the back straight, bumped near 450M, 3 lengths back turning in, closed off well to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

In the middle stages raced keenly. Near the 1500 Metres was eased to avoid GO GO GO when that runner was racing tight to the inside of SUPER TREASURE. Approaching the 450 Metres was bumped by JOYFUL CHAMPION which shifted out. As a result STORM RUNNER then raced tight between SUPER TREASURE and LEATHER MASTER for some distance. Sent for sampling post-race.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at tail, commenced move after passing 800M, 3 lengths or so back on turn, made good progress in straight to take a place without threatening. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the event M Chadwick reported that from the outside barrier he was instructed to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages.

Began well from gate 1, raced prominently on the inside, allowed rival to cross 1400M, 2 wide from 1100M, took the lead 600M, led by 3/4L turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 100M, weakened late.

For some distance in the early stages was crowded for room when racing tight to the inside of STORM RUNNER which was in turn racing tight to the inside of GO GO GO (A Atzeni). A Atzeni was severely reprimanded and advised that he must provide sufficient racing room for runners to his inside.

Shifted out at start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, moved closer after entering the back straight, positioned 3 wide, a length or so back on turn, showed some response early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened close home.

Shifted out soon after the start and was bumped. Raced wide and without cover from near the 900 Metres when it commenced a forward move. Sent for sampling post-race.

Slightly slow out and bumped, raced behind midfield on the inside, 5 lengths back turning in, made some progress early in straight, no clear run final 100M.

Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by SUPER TREASURE which shifted in. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when positioned close to GOLDEN FAIRY.

Jumped with them, raced 2 wide better than midfield, moved closer 650M, 3/4L back turning in, showed limited response early in straight, weakened gradually inside final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the event A Atzeni stated that his mount enjoyed a good run during the race, however, near the 600 Metres when MR ALADDIN improved to his outside his mount came under pressure and did not finish the race off thereafter. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced at rear on the inside, commenced move 500M, very wide turning in, made no progress in straight.

M L Yeung was found guilty of a careless riding charge for causing interference approaching the 450 Metres (see SUPER TREASURE). Approaching the 450 Metres improved into a run where there was insufficient room and as a result became unbalanced when racing tight between STORM RUNNER and SUPER TREASURE. Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running behind GO GO GO.

Jumped only fairly, raced in midfield on outer, dropped towards rear 800M, 5 lengths or so back on turn, failed to close off in straight.

Shifted in at start and bumped, sent forward to take the lead, found rail near 1400M, led by 3/4L in the middle stages, headed and dropped towards rear 600M, hampered near 500M, eased thereafter.

Shifted in at the start and was bumped. M L Yeung (JOYFUL CHAMPION) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the 450 Metres he improved into a position between STORM RUNNER and SUPER TREASURE where there was not sufficient room to do so, resulting in JOYFUL CHAMPION then racing tight to the inside of STORM RUNNER and resulting in SUPER TREASURE being checked when it lost its rightful running. M L Yeung was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Wednesday, 25 June 2025 and to expire on Sunday, 29 June 2025 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his neutral race riding record. The performance of SUPER TREASURE, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER TREASURE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
