Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 200 Metres was bumped by SUPERB MOVE and became unbalanced. Shifted to the inside of TRADITION near the 150 Metres to continue into clear running.

Taken back from gate 11, raced at tail, 9 lengths or so back, still last turning in, taken wide in straight and made good progress to be nearest on line. (See Racing Incidents.)

Trainer P C Ng confirmed that from a wide barrier the instructions were to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages to offset the wide barrier.

Began well from the widest draw, sent forward to race in 2nd, 2 wide, a length behind the leader turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened final 100M. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the event, K De Melo reported that his mount lay in throughout the event and as a result proved difficult to ride out in the Home Straight. He added that over the concluding stages he was unable to ride CERVIN to the finish when it shifted in towards CASA LEGEND which required him to stop riding and correct his mount.

Began only fairly, positioned 7 lengths behind the leader on rail, same margin back on turn, angled out early in straight, bumped 250M, no clear run until 150M, made some progress thereafter.

Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 250 Metres made contact with SMASHING EXPRESS as it endeavoured to obtain clear running to the outside of WINDICATOR FAMILY. During this incident, WINNING SEVEN was held up for clear running between the 250 Metres and the 150 Metres.

After the event, B Avdulla stated that his mount came under pressure leaving the 700 Metres and failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back to race 2 wide behind midfield, there to turn, angled out 350M, bumped 250M, ran on evenly to the line.

After the event, A Atzeni confirmed that from the inside barrier his instructions were to hold a more forward position to take advantage of barrier 1.
