Jumped only fairly and blundered shortly after the start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, found rail after passing 900M, saved ground on turn, unable to obtain clear run until final 100M, finished off strongly to score by a neck.

Jumped only fairly and blundered shortly after the start. After the 200 Metres became held up for clear running between FLYING ROMANTIC and FALCON COURT. Near the 100 Metres improved into a tight run between those two runners and as a result made contact with FALCON COURT before securing clear running shortly afterwards. M Chadwick was advised to ensure that there is sufficient room when improving into runs. Shifted out over the concluding stages and became unbalanced when it made contact with FALCON COURT. Sent for sampling post-race.

Average to begin, positioned 2 wide, a length or so back, found rail 900M, saved ground on turn, took the lead approaching 200M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner close home.

Jumped only fairly. Prior to declaring weighed-in, the Stewards gave consideration as to whether there were sufficient grounds for a protest/objection on behalf of FALCON COURT. After viewing the patrol films, the Stewards were satisfied that there were not sufficient grounds for a protest/objection due to FALCON COURT being crowded over the concluding stages as WIND SPEEDER and HO HO STAR were shifting ground and FALCON COURT was shifting ground also. When no protest/objection was lodged by connections, weighed-in was declared on the numbers semaphored by the Judge. Near the 100 Metres became unbalanced when bumped on the hindquarters by HO HO STAR. Briefly held up near the 300 Metres. Over the concluding stages shifted out and away from HO HO STAR and as a result approaching the winning post made contact with WIND SPEEDER (M L Yeung) which shifted in and shortly afterwards was crowded between WIND SPEEDER and HO HO STAR (M Chadwick) when that runner shifted out and away from FLYING ROMANTIC. B Thompson, M L Yeung and M Chadwick were advised to exercise more care.

Crowded start, raced at rear, 5 to 6 lengths back turning in, made good progress in straight to be nearest on line.

Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was crowded by WIND SPEEDER which shifted in slightly. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Began smartly from a wide draw, raced slightly better than midfield on the outside, no cover on turn, finished off evenly.

For a short distance near the 100 Metres H Bowman had his whip caught behind the leg of H Bentley, the rider of WINNING HEART. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Unable to be ridden out over the concluding stages when positioned behind WIND SPEEDER.

Began well, positioned 2 wide, 2 lengths or so back, 3 wide turning in, kept on same pace in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the event, H Bentley reported that he was obliged to make some use of his mount in the early stages and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide towards rear, angled out 500M, 4 lengths or so back turning in, made little progress in straight.

Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out to the finish when placed in restricted room between SPEEDY SMARTIE and THE CONCENTRATION which shifted in.

Jumped well from gate 1, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length turning in, peaked and headed approaching 200M, weakened final 100M.

Jumped awkwardly. After the 100 Metres was steadied when crowded by THE CONCENTRATION (J Melham) which shifted in. J Melham was reprimanded.

Away with them, sent forward to race prominently on the outside, a length back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened inside final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the event, Z Purton stated that after obtaining a position outside the lead in the early stages STERLING WONGCHOY finished the race off only fairly. He added that, in his opinion, STERLING WONGCHOY is still somewhat immature. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at tail, 6 lengths or so back turning in, made some progress early in straight, peaked 100M, one-paced thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped only fairly. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event, C Y Ho reported that after settling back in the field his mount found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight, particularly under its top weight of 134 lbs. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped with them, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, one-paced in straight.
