On jumping was crowded by ATOMIC BEAUTY which shifted in and made contact with TRADITION. TRADITION was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Moderately away from gate 1, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, no clear run until approaching final 100M, finished off evenly.

In the middle stages raced keenly and near the 750 Metres was steadied away from FIREFOOT. Over the concluding stages raced tight between ATOMIC BEAUTY and YOUTH POWER which shifted in slightly. As a result, H Bowman was unable to fully test his mount to the finish of the event.

Slowly away, raced 2 wide at rear, hard ridden after passing 500M, very wide into straight, made no progress in the run home.

Had its left hind plate refitted in the holding stables, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Shifted in at the start and was bumped.

Jumped well, sent forward to take the lead, led by 3/4L turning in, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the first two late.

On jumping was bumped by PERPETUAL POWER which shifted out. After the event, A Badel stated that due to the pace of the race being run outside of standard time throughout the early and middle stages TO INFINITY found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced at tail, 8 lengths or so back, very wide turning in, made no impression in straight.
