Out with rest, raced better than midfield on the outside, commenced move 500M, took the lead 400M, kept on very well in straight, won by 1-1/2L.

Moderately away from a wide draw, raced 2 wide, 4 lengths or so back, 3 wide approaching 800M, moved closer on turn, finished off well to take 2nd, no threat to the winner.

Began well from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, angled out 400M, no daylight run early in straight, cleared 250M, finished off evenly.

Held up for clear running making the Home Turn and near the 350 Metres was steadied when disappointing for clear running between GOLDEN FAIRY and FRUITY WARRIOR which was giving ground. As a consequence, GO GO GO did not obtain clear running until near the 300 Metres.

Began smartly, positioned 1-1/2L behind the leader on rail, angled out 450M, showed limited response early in straight, weakened gradually inside final furlong.

Jumped only fairly. After the event, C L Chau stated that his saddle shifted back shortly after the start, placing him at some disadvantage during the running of the event.

Jumped well, raced 2 wide in midfield, peaked on turn, weakened early in straight. (See Racing Incidents.) (Lame left hind leg next day morning.)

After the event, Y L Chung reported that his mount did not appreciate racing in amongst other horses on the All Weather surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <24/10/2024 Additional Veterinary Reports> GO HERO, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. GO HERO was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer Y S Tsui this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left hind leg. Before being allowed to ace again, GO HERO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Began well, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length, shared lead with rival from 650M, peaked and headed 400M, weakened early in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

When under pressure making the Home Turn and in the Home Straight hung out and proved difficult to ride. After the event, M Chadwick advised that from a wide barrier and his mount stepping up in distance, he was asked to take up a forward position. He said after complying with his instructions, WINNING TURN was able to lead the event. Trainer P F Yiu confirmed the instructions issued and stated WINNING TURN had settled a little further back than intended at its last start.

Slightly slow out, raced at tail, 6 lengths or so back turning in, failed to close off in straight.

After the event, H Bowman stated that his mount jumped only fairly and as a consequence settled a little further back than intended but he could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of NICE BIRDIE, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, NICE BIRDIE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Incident Report
After the event, B Avdulla stated that after obtaining a position outside the lead his mount came under pressure on the Home Turn and weakened noticeably in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from the left nostril. An endoscopic examination confirmed the horse to be a bleeder. Before being allowed to race again, FRUITY WARRIOR will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
